The Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) is a qualification for anyone working or preparing to work in any industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol. It is a must for anyone who wishes to achieve a personal licence.
A personal licence is essential for those who wish to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol on licensed premises. This course from Aphis Training will cover the requirements of the Licensing Act of 2003, and the legal responsibilities of someone who holds a personal licence. Participants will gain knowledge of the legal framework that is involved with the sale of alcohol in England and Wales, such as duties of the Designated Premises Supervisor, the role of licensing authorities and police power regarding licensed premises.
