The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the premier international professional body for the marketing industry. Since its founding in 1911, the CIM has worked to promote best practice, define and implement quality standards throughout the industry.

The aim and mission of the Chartered Institute of Management is to develop marketing as a discipline and profession, uphold the highest professional standards and optimise the skills of today's marketing professionals. In doing so, the CIM has accrued more than 41,000 members. CIM members gain unique access to insights and professional qualifications in marketing, enabling them to provide their organisations with the highest quality of results.
