The Health & Social Care Level 3 training course has been developed for students who have an interest in Healthcare and Social care services. This comprehensive study programme delivered by Distance Learning Ccentre covers many of the important issues faced in the helping professions. On successful course completion, candidates receive an accredited Level 3 Certificate Award and a Distance Learning Diploma.
Students may start at any time and have a full year to complete the training programme from the date of registration. They also have access to a personal tutor, who can assist them with questions regarding course materials and assessments.The course assessment consists of a series of written assignments, which are completed by the student then submitted to the instructor for grading.
This course is suitable for professionals who wish to work in the healthcare sector, as a nurse, social worker, health visitor or even as a paramedic. There are no particular entry requirements.
The Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care is issued through NCFE. NCFE is recognised as an Awarding Organisation by the qualification regulators (regulators) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Welsh Government and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
