The Kingston Distance Learning MBA program is made up of two distinct parts. During the first half of study, candidates will complete a series of core courses, designed to provide foundational business skills. The second portion of the program is dominated by an elective curriculum. Candidates can fulfill the elective requirement either by completing a series of elective courses or by undergoing an individual MBA project.

The MBA project is an excellent opportunity for MBA candidates to apply and explore theoretical concepts within a real business project. In addition to 2 elective courses (30 credits), MBA projects are valued at 30 credits. Projects are designed based on the areas of interest and career goals of each candidate. Previously MBA project topics have included consultancy projects, the development of a business plan for their future business and academic research projects. NB: Students must achieve a 60% or above in at least 60 credits in order to qualify for the MBA project.
