The SDA Bocconi Full-time MBA - 12 months full-time in Milan
Big steps forward
The 1-year Full-Time MBA is the School's flagship program and begins each October with around 100 new MBA students. Great importance is given in the program to soft skills, such as decision-making, personal leadership, negotiation and governance. Students spend the first eight months of the program taking foundation courses and developing management skills followed by a two-month real-world, hands-on experience (individual internship or group consulting project), plus final Concentrations.
In addition to 4 functional-based Concentrations, such as Finance, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Marketing, the Program offers participants the possibility to further personalize their development by choosing the sector-based Track in Luxury Business Management (LBM) in partnership with Bulgari, one of the global players on the luxury market.

*In-company Individual Internship:
To support students interested in securing an internship, the Career Development Service brings onto the campus a select group of companies that offer the opportunity to run an individual project with them. If, after completing the application procedure and one or more rounds of interviews, you succeed in receiving an offer that you accept, you will fulfil your project requirement by working at the company for at least 8 weeks from June to the end of August. Participants may also search for an internship on their own, should this better fit their personal and career aspirations. If so, however, you should secure an approval by the MBA Director upon presentation of a detailed internship proposal.
Through the Career Development Service, selected companies offer students the chance to develop a full-scale consultancy project. Students work as a consultancy team in groups of three to five with the assistance of a school tutor and company staff. Teams have eight weeks to complete the assigned project and provide the company with innovative and practical solutions. The group project is highly educational, both for technical learning and teamwork experience.
Should you be interested in starting your own company or in undertaking a specific business project inside a company, you may choose the “enterpreneurial project”. Under the supervision of a professor in entrepreneurship, you have the opportunity to develop a business plan, organize a start-up or take part in a company business development project.
Should you be interested in further investigating a relevant managerial topic of your interest, you may submit a research proposal to the MBA Director. If accepted, you will fulfil your project requirement by writing an original research paper under the supervision of a faculty member.
