This two-day training course has been designed as a unit of accreditation (L&D9DI) for the Workplace Assessor Award. The training course content and the learning outcomes build upon a recognition of competence for those who have responsibilities for assessing candidates who are, for example, working towards in-house competencies or vocational qualifications.
The programme is geared at those who develop and conduct assessment programmes and indirect methods of assessment, including, for example, observation, questioning and associate methods including professional discussions, written evidence, candidate statements and RPL, Recognition of Prior Learning.
The Workplace Assessor Award - SQA training course is aimed at delegates who:
Each delegate will be provided with a qualified and experienced Assessor who will assess the evidence generated from their assessment activities and also their knowledge. The Assessor in each case will make arrangements for assessment that meets the needs of the candidate.
Each successful candidate will receive an award from the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
