Bullets and numbering in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word has extensive methods of including bullet point and numbered lists, as well as features for tables, pages, chapters, headers, footnotes and tables of content. Bullets and numbering can be applied directly or using a button or by applying a style or through use of a template. Learn how with a Microsoft Word course.

Spell Checking & Languages in Microsoft Word

Word has a built-in spell checker, thesaurus and dictionary. More recent versions also connect to additional reference sites on the internet, such as Encarta Encyclopedia and internet searches.

Word’s spell checker comes pre-installed on most versions of Word and can check spelling and grammar in any section or over the whole document. There are a variety of settings available for how formal you want the grammar checker to be. You can also add new words to the in-built dictionary as needed.

Microsoft Word can also check your spelling in a different language or even in multiple languages in the same document. Default languages can be set and you can other languages directly inside your document.

A Microsoft Word course would help explain these features.
