Interactive Media and Digital Arts Level 3: Extended Diploma (Bracknell)

Are you seeking to create compelling content for media platforms? This course will give you the insight in order to succeed within this competitive industry.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Students should have a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (A*-C equivalent), including subjects English and maths.

It is also acceptable for a learner who has studied for a Level 2 Diploma in a media-based qualification (Merit/Distinction level) to join this Level 3 programme. You will be encouraged to share examples of any recent media related work and discuss your interest in the subject.

If you are interested yet have alternative qualifications you would like us to consider, please contact us to discuss possibilities. All students will have their literacy and numeracy needs supported within the programme.

Structurally, this course will allow you to synthesise practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge within a broad range of creative media disciplines. You will be encouraged to recognise the unique characteristics of certain specialisms as well as the dynamic and potentially innovative relationships between them and your own individual development.

  • computer Games Design
  • digital and concept art with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • film production with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects
  • completing your ‘Final Major Projects' by the end of each academic year
  • model making and sculpture with practical techniques
  • traditional (2D) and computer (3D) animation with Adobe Animate
  • working on Project Based Learning (PBL) and for Clientele (WEX)
