Simply Sewing
Gain confidence in using a sewing machine and learning practical techniques to complete a sewing project of your own!
Suitability - Who should attend?
You will need a basic sewing kit:
- Fabric scissors
- Paper scissors
- Pins
- Tape measure
- Un-picker
In addition, you will need a pencil and eraser.
Training Course Content
By the end of this course you will understand how to determine clothing size and follow a basic paper pattern to make a pair of elasticated trousers with pockets.
You will learn how to complete a toile (a garment made in calico fabric used to adjust the pattern) and gain the confidence of make the trousers using a sewing machine.
