Mental Health First Aid
This one day Management course gives an excellent induction into the field of “Management” as it covers the complete A-Z of what a manager needs to know when performing in this responsible and demanding role. By using a combination of theory and practice, this 1 day Management course is designed to increase your confidence in the field of Management and Leadership, and to provide you with the essential knowledge, strategies and toolkit of skills to work with confidence in this challenging, but very rewarding area. On completion of this course you will return to your workplace with an enlightened understanding & appreciation of leading and managing people, and the knowledge and skills to improve the overall effectiveness of both yourself and your team.
This course is CPD accredited and ILM Assured.
Suitability - Who should attend?
45 % of all ill-health absenteeism in the workplace is due to mental health. This Mental Health First Aid course is designed to teach individuals to become Mental Health First Aid trainers in the workplace, and to give them the skills and knowledge to recognise the common signs and indicators of issues relating to mental health and to be able to engage with someone needing mental health support and signpost them for further help if they require it.
