Course description

Criminal Law - 2019 Update

The course has been written by a criminal practitioner who has been advising in the area of criminal law for more than 30 years. The object of the course is to bring to your attention those matters of importance which have occurred over the last 12 months. The emphasis will be upon new legislation and important case-law of relevance to anyone involved in the criminal justice system.

Suitability - Who should attend?

It’s fair to say that all criminal lawyers have a lot on their minds at the moment. 2017 will bring with it as much uncertainty as did 2016. Despite concerns regarding legal aid/employment issues generally, there is still a requirement to keep fully updated with new legislation, important case-law and much else besides. This course will be of interest to anyone involved in the day-to-day practice of criminal law in England and Wales. Time is always an issue and if you only attend one public course in 2017, then this is the course for you.
