Objectives for this course are to be able to identify:What are the hurdles common to all occupational illness claims?What questions should you be looking at to connect the condition to the employment?What considerations should you have for Limitation and Date of Knowledge according to recent caselaw?What issues need to be covered within statements and instructing experts?How can you identify the responsible parties and their insurers?In order to do this, we will be looking at:Applying The Disease and Illness Protocol 2003Recent case law in asbestos, vibration, noise induced hearing loss, stress and upper limb claims, such as the Trigger Litigation, Allison v London Underground (2008) and Baker v Quantum Clothing Ltd (2011)Damages update
