Overview
Delegates should come to this course with a degree of experience in presenting, either having attended our own Introduction course, or something similar. The aim of this course is to build on your existing presentation skills by using a set of skills, tools and techniques to prepare, structure and deliver powerful presentations that get your message across. It will include working with PowerPoint presentations and/or other visuals. Laptops will be provided, but please note that we do not focus on the IT skills of creating a PowerPoint presentation – it is assumed that the participant is competent at this.
Who is this for?
This course is designed to take the experienced presenter on to more advanced skills. We recommend that delegates have attended Presentation Skills – An Introduction and/or have some experience of giving presentations. This course will benefit lawyers and non-law professionals alike.
What will you learn?
You will give a prepared presentation (either the first five-ten minutes, or a complete five-ten-minute presentation) several times throughout the day.
PSC Elective
This course may be taken as a PSC elective, although it may also be attended by non-trainees.
