Autodesk Inventor Studio - In-House Training for your design team

This Autodesk Inventor Studio - In-House Training will teach your delegates to create sophisticated renderings and animations using Autodesk Inventor.

The 1-day programme will help staff bring their 3D parts and assemblies, instructing them in the use of the appropriate techniques for:

  • Defining the appearance of 3D models
  • Creating and placing light sources
  • Customising camera settings

Delegates will leave the training with the skills to give their designs a compelling life-like appearance and to show them off to clients in a multitude of creative ways.

This Autodesk Inventor Studio - In-House Training is suitable for design teams and professionals with advanced Autodesk Inventor skills.

Pre-requisites
Delegates must be able to produce parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.

Training Course Content

Course content includes:

Defining the Appearance of Objects
  • Surface styles – the way to control colours and textures that add that sense of realism to your design
Lighting the Environment
  • Lighting styles – understand the important role that lighting plays in the overall process of rendering and animation
  • Create and group different types of lights – directional, point, spot – to highlight areas of your parts or assemblies
Setting the Scene
  • Scene styles – the way to control background reflectivity and shadows
  • Use cameras to set your target, adjust your distance and the angle of zoom Common modelling tools: fillet and chamfer, rectangular and circular patterns, mirrored features
Creating Realistic Renderings
  • Use photorealistic renderings to provide visual interest, add a sense of scale or space to your design, or visualise your design as it would actually appear when built
Animating your Design
  • Animate your model using its constraints
  • Use animation to evaluate your assemblies in various positions
  • Manoeuvre your design to a new position relative to the camera
  • Change a camera’s target, position, roll angle, zoom angle, or pan your camera around an axis
  • Animate multiple parts with varying levels of transparency for each
  • Create realistic movies of your animations that can be saved to and played in AVI format
