Course description
The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies whilst the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs, interests and to reflect the context of their work.
It covers a wide range of areas including
• how to monitor, plan and review a care plan
• how to ensure that dignity is at the centre of all work
• lead and support colleagues in care duties
• support others to understand the importance of safeguarding
• carry out fire safety procedures and manage others to do so

Suitability - Who should attend?
All units within the Level 3 Diploma in Care will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of assessment methods by a qualified workplace assessor.
This qualification is assessed by end-point assessment which comprises of
• Situational Judgement Test made
• Professional Discussion
Outcome / Qualification etc.
