Course description

The course was devised in association with a variety of public, private and voluntary sectors, for example the Police Service, Armed Forces, Local Government, Probation, Youth Offending Teams and the Civil Service. You will study a broad spectrum of issues relating to a variety of public and private services, and other sectors.

The course encompasses a wide range of the public and private sectors and develops the skills and attributes that are fundamental in any public, voluntary or private service industry. The course team will use CRC's excellent links with relevant external agencies, for example, the Cambridge University Officers' Training Corps, Royal Marine Reserves, Army Reserves, Police Specials, County Councils for guest lectures and additional opportunities for students, thus ensuring vocational experience is placed at the heart of this programme.

For Home and EU students, a loan from the Student Loans Company is available to support learners with fees if applied for. These fees cover the overall costs of the course, including sports kits, guest speakers, day trips and additional courses that will be run throughout the year.

The course is made up from the following units:

• International Institutions and Global Affairs
• Management of an Outdoor Event
• Research Project
• Blue Light Collaboration
