Course description

ISO Foundation Course

ISO Standards are often seen as daunting for people with no prior experience of them. This 'starter' course will help you know what ISOs are about and what they set out to achieve.

CfA's Foundation Course is ideal if you are interested in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 or a combination of these.  It is designed to help you understand the fundamentals of Management System Standards and to give you a clear overview of the various aspects of ISO certification.

At the end of the session, you should come away saying, 'I understand what the Standard is about and what it sets out to achieve'.

Features and Benefits

Here are some reasons why this course might suit you.

  • Delivered on your preferred virtual platform, or we'll come to you
  • Include as many people from your organisation as you wish
  • Expert, experienced and engaging ISO trainers and auditors
  • Choose the ISO (9001, 14001, 22301, 27001, 45001 or a combination) that interests you.
  • Pre-training discussion with your trainer

Suitability - Who should attend?

If you are planning (or thinking of planning) to implement the requirements of an ISO Standard into your business or organisation but are not sure where to start, our Foundation Course may be what you need.

Our trainers have all been working with ISO Management System Standards for many years and have helped hundreds of organisations complete successful certification audits.  CfA's Foundation Course will help you take the first step on the journey to achieve an ISO Standard (or a comination of Standards).

DISCLAIMER: Please be aware that our ISO Foundation Course is not a consultancy service and all course content and materials will be generic. Participation in the course will help you understand the requirements of a Management System but cannot guarantee a successful ISO audit.

If you are unsure about whether this course is for you, get in touch and a member of our friendly Business Development team will be delighted to talk to you.

Outcome / Qualification etc.

By the end of the course, you will know and understand:

  • the background to the Standard(s)

  • some of the specific requirements of the Standard(s), e.g. aspects and impacts/legislative compliance for ISO 14001; operations and resources for ISO 9001.
