Course description

The payroll department is responsible for ensuring their organisation is compliant with a wide breadth of statutory and contractual obligations. The diligent payroll department should identify and document the key processes required to achieve this aim. However, this is a daunting undertaking without guidance or experience.

This course covers all the fundamental aspects to consider, from designing optimal processes for starters and leavers, managing absence processes and ensuring all year-end processes are completed. Also covered are the wider considerations such as data protection, version control, interaction with other internal and external stakeholders and company policies.

Suitability - Who should attend?

This course will equip you with the knowledge and insight to compile a comprehensive payroll procedures manual tailored to their organisation's needs which ensures all payroll-related statutory and contractual obligations are met.

This course is primarily aimed at payroll supervisors and payroll managers, or those who aspire to such positions.

HR managers and finance managers who hold ultimate responsibility for their payroll department would also benefit.
