Foundation Degree in Payroll Management - CIPP

This three year Foundation Degree in Payroll Management from CIPP is accredited by the University of Worcester. It is designed to be taken either as a full degree for new or incoming payroll management, or can be taken as three separate CIPP qualifications. 

Payroll is a complex industry and students of this foundation degree will engage in a work based learning experience to gain knowledge, understanding and confidence in their respective roles.

The business management modules within the qualification will provide students with transferable skills such as performance, time, project and operational management.

This Foundation Degree in Payroll Management is designed for:

  • Employees in charge of managing the payroll service, whether in-house or outsourced

This qualification will provide increased confidence and knowledge in payroll, and help prevent penalties and fines for non-compliance.
The work based project, and completed assessments, are based on legislation and your own organisation, which will improve knowledge and enhance transferable management skills, benefitting your role through improved efficiencies and effectiveness.

Training Course Content

This qualification is divided into three years of study, with each year split into a series of modules. 

Year one - Practitioner certificate in payroll, focusing on core principals of payroll processing and manual tax calculations.

£3,095 + VAT per year

The Foundation Degree Access Course costs £1,595 + VAT

Whilst studying with the CIPP you are required to be an active member, this is to support your further reading and studies throughout the qualification. As a student you can join as an associate member for £120, saving you £65* in your first year.
