Course description

Evidence Based Practice

Evidence Based Practice - CPD accredited course at City University London

The definition of evidence-based practice is that it is an approach to clinical problem solving and health care provision based on real evidence. The aim of this type of practice is to keep you on track with the latest developments in your clinical field and also enable you to select from he published research papers which shows likely-to-be-true results.

While making investments in new and existing services in clinical practices the strength of the evidence and cost effectiveness of the evidence has to be taken into account. Moreover, you need to know about the latest developments and future prospects of clinical practices and relate your personal expertise in the practice.

This module is also designed so that you can distinguish and evaluate the evidences found in the clinical practices and research papers.
