Course description

Food Policy MSc

Food Policy MSc - a City University degree programme

The MSc in Food Policy focuses on significant theoretical and empirical concepts in food policy. Students are sure to gain in–depth understanding of food policy in the UK within a European and international context. Food policy interacts with a lot of other policies ranging from agriculture and production to retailing and consumption.

The course is one of its kinds and extends beyond academic concepts to exploring the working ethics of international bodies like European Union Institutions, agencies and the departmental functioning of the UK Government.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Students will normally have a first or upper second class honours degree, although applications from students with significant professional experience in a related field of employment or research will be considered.

  • IELTS: an overall score of 7.0

Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.

If you are not from the European Economic Area / Switzerland and you are coming to study in the UK you may need to apply for a visa or entry clearance to come to the UK to study. /p>
