Health & Social Care Improvement Project (e-learning) - CPD accredited course at City University London

This course will provide resources to help in practical settings when executing improvement projects. The steps to running improvement projects are shown in this module along with the plan, data collection and data analysis methods when applying quality improvement projects in the practitioner’s firm. This course comes with tools, which help in the analysis of clinical micro-systems and also goes through several techniques which help breed intelligent information and ways to bring about changes. Learning activities such as group discussions, practicals, interaction, investigations and problem solving take place with the help of asynchronous online forums in this module.

Suitability - Who should attend?

This training is for:

Overseas students can only apply as part of a programme, not as a stand-alone module

You must successfully complete module CH3040 Making sense of Clinical Governance before advancing to this Healthcare Improvement Project module.

Entry requirements for BSc Health Sciences (online) programme:

  • 120 Level 4 credit points and 120 Level 5 credit points in healthcare-related subjects

Entry requirements for study as a stand-alone module:

  • Current registration with a professional and regulatory body (healthcare)

Applicants whose first language is not English need to demonstrate their English language proficiency. The minimum requirements are:

  • IELTS: 7 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in each component.

Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs City University London no longer accept TOEFL as evidence of English language proficiency for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
