International Communications and Development MA - a City University degree programme

The role of media and communication is vital in today’s world where freedoms of expression, democracy, human rights and access to natural and material resources guide development projects across the world. The International Communications and Development MA provides an interdisciplinary framework for understanding and critically assessing the role of communications for and in development projects.

The course focuses on development as an in-depth concept for exploring the democratic forms of training and media initiatives across different geographical regions.

Students will normally have a first or upper second class honours degree, although applications from students with significant professional experience in a related field of employment or research will be considered.
