Management of Information Security and Risk: Executive Development - CPD accredited course at City University London

This course focuses on developing your knowledge and skills to face the challenges of personal strategies and skills for success in senior IT roles in a professional IT environment. The goal is to prepare you with personal skills and capacities to enhance your presence at your workplace. This module targets to make you a reflective practitioner and makes you better understand your roles and responsibilities in different spheres of work. This course is generated from the MSc in Management of Information Security and Risk.

Suitability - Who should attend?

This course is for regular students. You should have a first or second class BSc honours degree (or equivalent non-UK qualification).

You should also have approximately five years of relevant professional experience (absolute minimum of two years in exceptional circumstances).

You should also have basic competence and familiarity with mathematics and good professional English.

Applicants whose first language is not English need to demonstrate their English language proficiency. The minimum requirements are:

  • IELTS: 7 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in each component.

Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs City University London no longer accept TOEFL as evidence of English language proficiency for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
