This Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering or Manufacturing course provides a practical introduction to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) knowledge required for a food manufacturing or catering environment.

Responding to UK-wide legal requirements concerning the implementation of food safety management systems based on HACCP principles, the 1-day programme allows delegates to develop a solid understanding of:

  • the main legislative aspects & principles of HACCP
  • food safety control
  • monitoring & verification mechanisms
  • the practical implementation of control procedures

By the end of the course, candidates will be confident in their knowledge of the hazards encountered in food businesses and the most effective ways of controlling them.

Suitability - Who should attend?

The Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering or Manufacturing is suitable for all food handlers working in high risk environments, as well as owners and managers looking to develop their understanding of HACCP and food safety control.

Outcome / Qualification etc.

On completion of this course, candidates will receive a  Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering or Manufacturing from HABC (Highfield Qualifications) or RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health).
