BPEC Legionella Risk Assessment and Water Systems

The BPEC Legionella Risk Assessment is a one day commercial training and assessment course aimed at experienced plumbing and heating operatives in accordance with the requirements of the revised Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) This course provides operative with the knowledge and skills to undertake the water disinfection process.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Candidates MUST have:

Water Byelaws 2014 Scotland certificate;
Experience in the plumbing/heating industry;
SVQ Level 2/3 plumbing, heating and ventilating (domestic installation) or equivalent earlier certification

Training Course Content

Detailed overview of legislation in the control of Legionnaire’s disease and water disinfection
Practical guidance on carrying out a risk assessment and how to rectify identified risks or problems

Continuing Studies
