This Advanced Executive Assistant Programme has been developed to meet the ever growing need for highly skilled Executive PAs and Executive Assistants to work alongside business leaders, global entrepreneurs, chairmen, CEOs, and Presidents & Vice Presidents in the role of Business Support Partner. This programme is ILM recognised and CPD Standards Office approved. Learners will receive an ILM Certificate and access to 1 year study membership on the ILM website on completion of both days. You will also receive a CPD Standards office Certificate after the course.

Executive PAs & Executive Assistants play a range of crucial roles as key influencers, advisers, and personal resources at the board level and as such, require a range of skills leadership, management, finance and soft skills such as time management, relationship building, presentation and event management skills. This highly acclaimed 2-day intensive course equips Executive PAs & Executive Assistants with the skills they require to thrive in their position.

This course is aimed towards highly skilled Executive PAs, Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants who would like to enhance their management and leadership skills, gain a more in depth understanding of finance for business by understanding corporate accounting, company accounts and budgeting. In addition the session covers the topic of event management and how to present with confidence to senior management.

  • Corporate Finance: Share Price, Equity Value, Understanding Company Accounts, Profit and Loss Accounts, Reading Balance Sheets

  • Successful Event Management, from Board Meetings through to Events and Conferences
  • Planning your event, coordinating the team
  • Event delivery - the do's and don'ts
  • Making an Impact and Presenting with Authority - perfect your Presentation Skills

  • Hints and tips for effective presentations

This 2 day programme is delivered by 2 qualified trainers, an Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London & City University and a CIPD L&D Practitioner & Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London
