Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Training

This online Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Training course provides the user with sufficient knowledge about protected characteristics, victimisation, discrimination and unfair treatment in the workplace.

More than 25% of UK workers say they have experienced workplace discrimination, it is essential that organisations offer this information to their employees.

The CPD Accredited training course can be completed in just 60 minutes and provides the user with a certificate upon completion of the end-of-training test.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Training Certificate

This Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Training course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. Your certificate will include; any approvals or accreditations the course has, your name, your mark, the date you received the certificate and the date of expiry. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the Equality Act 2010 and learn about protected characteristics
  • Learn how to treat others with respect and fairness
  • Understand the types of discrimination, including direct, indirect, harassment and victimisation

Training Course Content

This training course is broken down into 3 sections

Section 1: The Ideal Workplace

In this section, users will learn about the social and ethical responsibility everyone has and its importance. We will also look at the ideal workplace. 

Section 2: Unacceptable Behaviour

This section will look at how staff can challenge some of the barriers that may prevent them from creating an ideal workplace. 

Section 3: The Protected Characteristics

The third section will introduce users to the protected characteristics that are covered by the Equality Act 2010. 

Section 4: Practical Improvements

The final section will look at how employees can celebrate each other's differences and the advantages of having a diverse workforce.
