Training Course Content
This training course is broken down into 5 sections
Section 1: The Nature of Fire
This section will cover how fire can start, spread and the dangers it (and smoke) poses.
Section 2: Fire Signage
This section will help you to identify the different type of signs in work and provide a simple traffic light system to identify and remember the different types of signs.
Section 3: Fire Hazards
In this section, we will look at hazards that can cause fires in the workplace, including sources, flammable and combustibles.
Section 4: Emergency Procedure
This section will provide steps on what to do in the event of a friend what to do if you cannot escape in an emergency.
Section 5: Portable Fire Extinguishers
This final section will look at when it is safe to fight a fire and what extinguishers you should and shouldn't use, and when it's not safe to fight it.
