This Fire Warden Training course will help your designated staff members in gaining the knowledge to become a fully trained Fire Warden or Marshal but does not replace practical training. This online training course will help your organisation work towards compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005.
Assigning a responsible person with the duties of a Fire Warden is a critical component in making sure that your organisation reaches satisfactory health and safety standards. It also demonstrates due diligence and commitment to implementing emergency fire procedures at work.
This training course is divided into five different easy-to-digest sections so that the user is able to refer back to certain sections of the course if needed.

To finish this Fire Warden Training course, you need to complete a multiple-choice, 20-question test.
This training course is broken down into 5 sections
Section 1: The Nature of Fire
This first section will make sure you know how fire works and how it can spread. Wardens should know about how fire can spread to help educate their employees too.
Section 2: Signage
In this section, we look at the different types of signs as well as their meanings and the importance of Fire Warden's knowing what these signs mean to help educate their colleagues.
Section 3: Proactive Duties
This section will look at a Fire Warden's proactive duties that include routines, preventative measures, arson awareness risk assessments and system maintenance.
Section 4: Reactive Duties
This section will look at a Fire Warden's reactive duties that they may need to action during fire drills and fire emergencies.
Section 5: Fire Extinguisher
This final section will teach Fire Wardens about when to fight a fire (and when not) and how to use some of the most common fire extinguishers.
