Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Training

This online Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Training builds on and includes the content from our Food Safety & Hygiene Level 1 training. This training is suitable for anyone who consistently handles various types of food at work. 

In the UK alone, there are over 1 million cases of food poisoning cases reported. 

Complete this course in just 70 minutes and receive your IOSH Approved and CPD Accredited certificate. You will cover things like personal hygiene, cleaning, storage, temperature, time and the Law.

This course is available in 34 Languages.

Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Certificate

This Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Training course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. Your certificate will include; any approvals or accreditations the course has, your name, your mark, the date you received the certificate and the date of expiry.

Training Course Content

This training course is broken down into 5 sections

Section 1: Introduction

In this first section, you will be given definitions of some of the terms we use in the course, learn about food hazards, food standards bacteria and more!

Section 2: Personal Hygiene

This section will look at the importance of personal hygiene including; PPE, gloves, infection, first aid, illness and jewellery.

Section 3: Cleaning

This section will focus on the importance of cleaning, the do's and don't's, cleaning schedules, bins, fridges/freezers and disinfecting surfaces and equipment. 

Section 4: Storage, Temperature & Time

This section will look at some of the things you need to consider like food temperatures, deliveries, storage, preservation, packaging.

Section 5: The Law

This final section will look at some of the legal requirements that food handlers/businesses must meet.
