Health and Safety Essentials Training
This Health and Safety Essentials Training course covers the key areas of Health & Safety that organisations are legally obliged to train their staff in. This introduction to the major topics in health & safety will help to keep your workplace safe.
The HSE report that in 2018/19 there were 58100 non-fatal workplace injuries.
The training course takes a look at responsibilities and legal requirements, hazards and risks, safety signs, PPE, and workplace emergency procedures such as fire evacuation and calling the emergency services.

Training Course Content
This training course is broken down into 4 sections
Section 1: Responsibilities and Legal Requirements of Health and Safety
This section will educate you on who is responsible for health and safety at work and the duties people have on themselves.
Section 2: Hazards and Risks in the Workplace
This section will cover the difference between a hazard and risk and examples of both.
Section 3: Safety Signs and their Importance
This section will cover the different kinds of signage you might find in the workplace and what they mean.
Section 4: Workplace Safety and Emergency Procedures
The final section will cover what you should do if things go wrong and the first aid resources and accident books that you may have to use.
