Lone Working in the Workplace - Lone Worker Training
With roughly 6 million people in the UK being considered “lone-workers”, there are many considerations employers of lone workers have to make in order to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
This online training course teaches the user how to stay in control of difficult situations where you might experience aggression whilst lone working, as well as informing the user about personal safety and how practical planning is important.
The RoSPA Approved & CPD Accredited course can be completed in just 25 minutes and provides the user with a printable certificate upon completion of the end-of-training test. This training course will help your organisation towards compliance with current legislation.

Lone Working In the Workplace - Lone Worker Training Certificate
This Lone Working In the Workplace - Lone Worker Training course concludes with a 20 question multiple choice test with a printable certificate. Your certificate will include; any approvals or accreditations the course has, your name, your mark, the date you received the certificate and the date of expiry.

Training Course Content
This training course is broken down into 4 sections
Section 1: What is Personal Safety?
This section will cover who is at risk, who is responsible for employee safety and how to prepare for a visit.
Section 2: Practical Planning
This section looks at your personal safety when getting to and from your place of work.
Section 3: Staying in control in difficult situations
This section will show you how to recognise the signs of aggression, how to try and diffuse the situation early on and how to escape a possibly harmful situation.
Section 4: Working alone
This final section will provide a simple tool to create your won risk assessments which are accessible through your LMS.
