Introduction to Microsoft Outlook - In-House Course

Microsoft Outlook Introductory - 1-day private course for first time users of Microsoft Outlook

With email playing such a large role in most working environments, effective use of Microsoft Outlook is a crucial way for professionals to improve their productivity on the job.

This Microsoft Outlook Introductory course is a private programme designed to equip your staff with the foundational skills necessary to use the Outlook software for effective email and task management. Delivered on-site or off-site depending on your company's needs, the training covers a range of basic Outlook operations including:

  • Creating and sending email messages
  • Replying to and forwarding emails to others
  • Using the calendar for appointments
  • Making reminders and tracking activities

The class is 100% hands-on and heavily focused on practical exercises that will help delegates develop proficiency and confidence in using the tools & features covered. Though the standard course has a set outline, organisations can choose to further customise the content in order to meet a specific need. Tailored "At Desk" sessions, which involve Insight trainers visiting individuals at their desks to see how they use the software, are also available.

Insight IT Training can arrange for the training to cover any version of the Microsoft Outlook software.

Suitability - Who should attend?

This course is suitable for first time and recent users of Microsoft Outlook who would like to develop their confidence in using the software's basic features.
