Social Media for Business

Entry Requirements:

To ensure you are able to successfully complete your course and achieve this qualification, we will need to review your existing qualifications and/or experience, taking into consideration if you are able to progress to a level 3 qualification.

For learners who have recently been in education, the profile is likely to include one of the following:

• a Level 2 qualification in Business or Enterprise or a related vocational area
• a standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to four GCSEs at grade A*-C
• other related level 2 qualifications
• related work experience.

Eligibility:

• A strong interest in setting up and developing social media for your own your own business, or the business that you work in.
• Subject to successful interview & initial assessment
• 19+

• Those who are currently running their own business.
• Those entering this sector for the first time.
• Those looking to up skill and develop their knowledge of social media for business purposes.
• For Learners completing a traineeship or apprenticeship, who would like to progress to the next level.

This qualification provides career development opportunities for those already in work, and progression opportunities to higher education, degree and professional development programmes within the same or related areas of study, within universities and other institutions.

On successful completion of a Gateway QCF level 3 qualification, a learner can progress to or within employment and/or continue their study in the same, or related vocational area.
