Course description

Tai Chi - Exercises for Beginners: Tai Chi is a soft and gentle form of exercise of body and mind. We work by moving the body while practicing a focused attention on our movement. Progress is slow to allow students to æabsorbÆ the movement through their body as well as to develop the necessary awareness to the way the body moves and the patterns of thinking of the mind. After some practice people usually become better at connecting body and mind in a quiet and focused manner. This is why Tai Chi is considered as a form of Moving Meditation., The Beginners course focuses on different Qigong exercises, breathing techniques and individual Tai Chi exercises and movements. , At the end of the course students should be a little more familiar with the philosophy and terminology of Tai Chi, they will be able to demonstrate a few Tai Chi exercises and to practice some relaxation methods., , , ,
