Course description

3D Printing Introduction to Intermediate 4 Day Course

This London Software Training 3D Printing course will teach you how to 3D model and 3D print your own designs within a supportive group environment.

3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is the process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital file. In an additive process, an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created.

In this course you'll learn the ins and outs of this exciting technology. Our training will give you the skills to model and print your own 3D designs and operate our five printers.

You will be taught how to design models for architecture, jewellery, products, engineering or any other creative pursuit using 3D software.

By the end of the course, you will be confident in using a 3D printer to create your own models.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Our 3D Printing Introduction to Intermediate 4 Day Course is perfect for those looking to learn how to 3D model and 3D print their own designs to an excellent level.

This was a well structured and very attentive course led by Matt, who not only had an extensive understanding of 3D printing processes, but was able to communicate the concepts and technical know-how in an accessible way. The whole team at LST are very communicative too.

Nicola
Such an amazing day of training with Sam. I did the 1-2-1 intro to 3D printing course - which took me through absolutely everything I needed to know for a project I am working on. Sam completely tailored the course to my project so I left with practical knowledge (what printer to buy, materials etc) and the confidence of having used Sketchup and...
