Ready to Wear Tailoring for Men and Women

Learn to make beautifully tailored Ready to Wear jackets and coats using machine and handcraft techniques for the high end market. Intermediate level experience of using patterns and constructing garments required. Hand sewing skills an advantage, but not essential.

What you will learn

New students will study basic tailoring techniques by producing a jacket sample.

Returning students can negotiate their projects with the tutor depending on their previous experience. Teaching is both to the whole class and on an individual, one-to-one basis using demonstrations, discussion, examples, samples, hand-outs and other technical support material where appropriate.

In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress ou your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
