What you will learn

  • You will begin with a thorough warm up to prepare for the high energy class and build fitness and stamina
  • You will learn individual movements through repetitive practice, following step by step demonstration and guidance from the Tutor, isolating movements of hands, head, feet, etc
  • You will learn and dance a full sequence of movements, responding to the drum-breaks and tempo changes from the supporting music
  • You will perform your own freestyle solo at the end of the class, in a relaxed and friendly environment
  • You will have the chance to ask questions and discuss your learning with your fellow students and your tutor

In addition to your dance practice, study can include the use of digital resources such as film & photography, useful websites and connection with online communities of interest via social media to enhance your learning.
