This course is for learners who have completed the Get Started with DSLR and Photoshop course or have basic knowledge of a DSLR camera and image editing techniques. Basic image editing knowledge is essential. You should be able to crop, carry out basic edits to an image and work with layers. You will learn how to improve photographs using Photoshop techniques. You will work on a variety of creative projects to create impressive composites. Quick fixes will also be looked at so you can enhance and improve your digital photographs. More advanced projects will be available for those with more experience. Editing skills are transferrable so you do not need to have Photoshop CS6 to complete the work. Projects can also be completed using older versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. In class we shall be using Photoshop CS6. Your tutor will teach you by lecture/discussion, demonstration, handouts and one-to-one help when appropriate. By your tutor on a weekly basis and also by your own individual learning plan NCFE Level 1 Award in Photography NCFE Level 2 Award in Photography You will need to practice techniques using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. You will require a note book.
