Course description

Supplier Management

This interactive two-day workshop will equip you with all the tools to develop, implement or improve your supplier management programs. Using a risk-based approach we will look at processes for selecting, introducing and maintaining suppliers. These tools will be scalable to your particular business situation.

There will be something of use whatever the goods and service supply you are involved in. The principles can be applied to sterile APIs, calibration services, unbranded cardboard boxes and everything in between!

At the end of the two days you will leave with a number of tools to ensure the value of the supply chain increases through appropriate management and also meets regulatory expectations.

Why You Should Attend

The supply of goods and services from third parties is essential to the prosperity of any business. This is especially true in the pharmaceutical industry as indicated by the increasing regulatory attention on supplier management. This workshop will help to demonstrate the importance of value being a driver rather than basic cost of purchased items. A good supplier quality management is a great benefit in delivering a reduction in the cost of poor quality and company efficiency.
