Speaking persuasively over the phone is a crucial skill to be honed at every stage of a career in sales. This course has been designed to match the changing needs of the sales industry to give an advanced level of training to increasingly large accounts being made over the phone.

This two-day course is highly interactive and demanding and equips delegates with guidance to improve every element of cold calling; driving motivation, confidence, and effectiveness to breathe new life into the art of telephone selling.

A feature of the course is that delegates will tackle three focused live calling sessions to move  taught techniques to translatable skills in the workplace.

  • Cold calling challenges: Overcoming negativity and addressing beliefs and mind-set
  • Communication and Rapport: the 3 V’s of communication
  • Planning a Winning Call: Setting call objectives and a 4 step gatekeeper technique
  • Grabbing Attention: Creating the hook, Turn on Phrase and Take Away Phrase
  • Understanding Client Needs: Revealing and understanding needs to create interest and opportunities
  • LIVE CALLING SESSIONS (3): Cold Calling Qualified Leads
  • Value Proposition: Presenting benefits and objection handling
  • Summarise and Close: Gaining commitment and closing techniques
  • Evaluation, Action, Close: Evaluation of the calls, numbers of new contacts, numbers of appointments made, business closed
