The aim of the course is to provide you with all of the skills you need to progress in work. It's ideal if you're looking to go on to Higher Education or if you want to go into a supervisory role. You'll be able to choose from a range of units to meet the particular area of horticulture that you plan to work in.

You can look forward to a varied programme of modules that also includes a work placement. You'll also continue your English and Maths up to GCSE level. Modules include:

  • Care, management and propagation of plants
  • Garden design and business practices
  • Nursery stock and heritage garden management
