Course description
On this course, you will develop your artistic and creative skills and explore a range of art disciplines. You will find your own style and experiment with new drawing and painting techniques. You will develop your drawing and painting techniques and practice different effects using a range of media such as acrylics, water colours, pencil, pastels and oils and learn to develop tone, texture, composition and layers.
You will practice basic drawing and sketching, working from pictures, photographs and still life. All skills are taught over consecutive terms. There will be a 2-hour session each week for the duration of the course. This course is for personal development and is informally assessed by the Tutor with self assessment and evaluation by the student.
