Family Cooking and Baking- Parent and Child Aged 7-15 years

On this course, you will learn to create a wide range of tasty dishes, try your hand at new skills and broaden your palette. This Cookery course is ideal for beginners or for those with some experience. There will be shared activity between parents/carers and their children.

You will learn how to bake Artisan breads, including, rustic loaves, focaccia, tea breads, granary rolls and delicious biscuits, including Jaffa cakes, custard biscuits and cookies and sumptuous tea cakes, including Victoria sandwich and cupcakes. Family Learning courses are fun and aim to support children's first and most important educators, offering ideas and activities to support children's learning in everyday situations.

On completion, you can try another cookery course, including courses for adults only, or a different Family Learning programme such as crafts. For adults we offer Sugarcraft Flowers, Cake Decorating plus a range of other courses, including Floristry and Jewellery Making.
