Introduction
Learn to design and represent garments and accessories through fashion illustration. This course is a great introduction if you're a beginner, but can help you practise and develop new skills if you already work in fashion, or are taking another course in this area.
The course covers:
Interpreting client needs and managing illustration projects
Different fashion illustration techniques
How to draw the human body and face
Colour theory
Development of your personal style
How to present your illustrations.
If you're self-employed, you might be able to deduct your enrolment fee from your taxable income.
Assessment
You'll keep a record of your progress to build a portfolio of work. Your tutor will support and help you improve through advice and feedback on your work.
Next Steps
This course is a good starting point if you would like to progress on to another fashion course at the College. It's also helpful if you work in fashion and want to develop new skills.
