Course description
Introduction
On this course you'll learn the basics of pattern cutting to manipulate patterns for bodices, skirts and sleeves. These techniques will enable you to transform patterns to a style that suits you.
You'll cover:
Dart manipulation
Slashing and spreading
Taking accurate body measurements
Pattern landmarks.
Assessment
You'll keep an individual progress record and there will be question and answer sessions with your tutor.

This course is a great starting point if you want to work in fashion or design your own clothes at home or professionally. You could develop your skills further on another fashion or sewing course with us.
