Course led by Chris and John: learnt a lot and a good atmosphere, went at the right pace with appropriate tea breaks. Information shared was clear and the use of acronyms and props helped to remember messages. I especially liked the approach taken by Chris to embed information in an amusing way that worked. At first, I was unsure of the practic...

Even though the course is serious the trainers made it light hearted and fun. They deserve some recognition for the way they make the students feel at ease because it is nerve-racking and quite daunting to remember everything after three years

We all found the experience highly enjoyable and informative, and have since put our new skills to good use dealing with incidents from scalds to fainting, sprained wrists and a head injury. I'll admit at first it looked a lot of information to digest in a short space of time, however the enthusiasm the trainer's put in to each and every session really helped with the learning process. I left with life skills and knowledge I didn't have before. The emphasis on practical assessments is great, acting out these skills in a staged real ...
