This highly practical instructor led FastTrack Red Hat 7 System Administrator course is designed to give experienced LINUX/UNIX administrators practical experience
in the administration of a Red Hat Linux 7 System.
System administrators already experienced in administering other LINUX/UNIX systems such as Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and SUSE will gain valuable skills in
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration.
This course features a high practical content and will be delivered at a fast pace with a strong emphasis on using the command line. Delegates should
have previous command line experience of LINUX/UNIX, including but not limited to; cp, grep, mkdir, vi, ssh, tar, gzip, useradd and be capable of using
man pages.
The delegate will learn modern system administration techniques and commands to administer a Red Hat Linux system. The command line is demonstrated and
used extensively throughout the course.
Exercises and examples are used throughout the course to give practical hands-on experience with the techniques covered.

Who will the Course Benefit?
This FastTrack Red Hat 7 System Administrator course is suitable for experienced LINUX/UNIX System Administrators who need to acquire knowledge of the key administrative
tasks required to administer a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system.
Course Objectives
On completion of the FastTrack Red Hat 7 System Administrator course, the delegate will have a greater technical awareness
of the system and will have acquired practical experience of the key administration tasks required to administer a Red Hat Linux system.
Examinations
This FastTrack Red Hat 7 System Administrator training course will aid the delegate to work towards achieving the following exam:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA): EX200
Please note, Red Hat certification is only available for RHEL 8 and all exams are performed on RHEL 8.
Attending this course will help the delegate gain many of the skills and product knowledge requirements as outlined in the exam objectives. Studying this course and
its associated reference materials can form part of the preparation to achieve certification. Experience, practice, self-study and aptitude are also key requirements
for exam success.
Before taking any exam, ensure you have the recommended experience. The Red Hat website lists all exam requirements and these are updated regularly.
Exams are not included as part of the course.
Requirements
This course assumes a strong prior knowledge of the Linux operating system, and significant experience working with Linux as a system administrator is r
ecommended.
The delegate will be expected to already understand fundamental Linux computing concepts, to the level covered on
the Red Hat 7 System Administration - Part 1 course, as a minimum level requirement for attendance.
