The aim of the course is to continue to prepare players for social Bridge or joining a club or league.


What will we cover?

Some or all of the following will be included during the course:

planning the play
new conventions
defenders’ play
defending against pre-empts

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This course is for those who have completed Improvers - Year 2 - Term 2 or its equivalent. If unsure please discuss the suitability of the course with the tutor before enrolment.
You may be asked to study independently for 10 minutes a day.


As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You may be required to purchase an English Bridge Union (EBU) textbook. Please discuss this with your tutor at the first lesson before buying any books.


What can I do when I finish the course?

You can progress by joining a Bridge club or league. Please ask your tutor for guidance.
